The game is absolutely not pay to win in any way. I don’t know where people are coming up with this.
The “buffs” on armor are all the same (seriously, look at all the armor pieces you have), have no advantage over anything, and are more just flavor than anything game breaking or actually OP.
The paid currency can easily be earned in game.
There is nothing pay to win about Helldivers 2.
Paying to advance or get “gear” that does anything more than change looks is pay to win
and yet it has DRM to prevent people from skipping past the grind in a pve game.
Ok…but you don’t have to pay to skip it so…whatever.
Game looks boring AF anyways, as do most shooters. W+left click+new pictures= fun apparently.
That drm prevents linux support so I guess it’s a non issue to me either way.
Works on Steam Deck with no tinkering. I think Linux support is good.
How well does it run on the Steam deck ?
I haven’t messed with them a ton. I am running a mixture of medium and low settings and getting 35-40 FPS. Battery life is about an hour at full charge. It’s playable and fun but hopefully they will have some optimizations eventually.
