The game Team Fortress 2 has a competitive scene largely run by grassroots organizations such as RGL, ETF2L, and OzFortress.
In two separate seasons, the player fexgem and his team have managed to be the spark for RGL to update their website because they kept losing every match… including matches against dead teams and Bye Weeks.
Still, I love this about the web, and Lemmy in particular. The free exchange of relevant knowledge.
