It’s probably easier to maintain clean and dedicated distribution packages rather than putting everything into one giant pile. I’m not a maintainer, but I imagine this is similar to coding.

Yeah. Reddit makes money, but it’s unpaid workforce who have to combat bots - and their options are limited. It’s crazy that this is normalized.
People care about Marvel movies and Taylor Swift. There is nothing wrong with either, it’s just a form of entertainment at this point.
There are no such popups though. The issue on Windows is that Microsoft is pushing AI everywhere, whether you want it or not. But the OP allegedly used AI as a tool to generate this image when they wanted to.

1·2 months agoI think the biggest advantage of an old laptop is that people often already have one.


This is one of the reasons why I don’t host other people’s data. I’d consider this option if there was another technical person among users with whom I could share workload and risks like a sudden death.
