Works fine for audio though and lasers are cool, so it all balances out Edit: I am aware that mostly anything works good for a digital signal.

Regular toslink is just plastic
That’s what I was thinking, it’s not even a glass fiber-optic. Works fine for audio though and lasers are cool, so it all balances out
Edit: I am aware that mostly anything works good for a digital signal.
Toslink is not a laser just a red LED.
