little buddy loves banging out libre writer classics on a T420 but the under trackpad/nub buttons have become non functional due to spills and sneezes, even using an external mouse on it now is a bit hit or miss. laptop has had forever the infamous palmrest crack and still runs, so, maybe?
surely a top case replacement would solve it… maybe even a good spray of contact cleaner would, I’ll give that a go actually

How to differentiate X220 from X201?
Buttonless touchpad, no ethernet port on the left side, replaced by (what could be) a displayport.
Also the fact that no sane person would use an X201 these days.
