Getting done with my work 10% faster means I have more free time. It’s not the complicated. If you’re hourly or self employed then the amount of time you work is more directly correlated with your pay than when your salaried. On a salary you get an amount of work to complete and are expected to complete it, however long it takes. Time manipulation abilities give you more bang for your buck in that scenario. If you’re hourly it’s actively worse. Good luck experiencing more time while a clock doesn’t move and billing for it. If you’re selling your work directly then you still have to complete more things to get more cash. I’m more interested in improving my quality of life by getting more free time.

Like if I could work twice as fast, I don’t wanna do twice as much work in a day. I’d rather work 8 hours and have 20 hours of off time than work 16 hours and have 16 hours of off time.
