Sounds like you have some motor issues, probably stress related. You deserve more vacation days. And shorter working hours, so you aren’t so rushed all the time.
When the 40 hour workweek was invented, most workers had a wife at home to do chores. You shouldn’t be working 40 hours a week plus chores! When women started working and the workforce doubled, the standard workweek should have been adjusted to 20 hours a week. You probably wouldn’t have stubbed your toe so pathetically if you only worked 20 hours a week.
I was not in a rush for work, nor doing chores! I was enjoying some leisure at the time, and I am a young person with several decades left in me before I’m “all used up” as the late great Utah Phillips once sang.
But if you can direct me to politicians I can rage against in my current situation, I am somewhat eager (my toe still hurts, otherwise I would be 100% eager)
Were you in a rush to take advantage of leisure time? With a 20 workweek, you’d have lots more leisure time, and you could afford to be more careful with it
Reminder that everything is political
Great quote from Brody West. LiS 2.
Stubbing my toe this morning was political? Ohhhhhh you’ll see me at a protest real soon >:(
Maybe you stubbed your toe because the local council chose a poor design for the roadside curbs
I stubbed it on my flat floor, what do you have to say to that, Johnny Politics???
