Has he clarified what he meant by this yet? Because it’s really, really fucking weird that he said that, and that nobody even called him out for that.
I saw someone say that he clearly meant to say “stop protecting pedophiles”, but I don’t know if they were saying it sarcastically or not.
It’d be pretty funny if that’s what he meant, though. “And we gotta stop protecting the pedophiles! C’mon, you’ve been doing it, I’ve been doing it, let’s just all agree to knock it off.”
Now, Senator Booker also said ‘We should have bipartisan agreements’. I think that’s a great idea, we should have bipartisan agreement. How about we all come together and say ‘let’s stop murders’? How about we all come together and say ‘let’s stop rape’? How about we all come together and say ‘let’s stop attacking pedophiles’?
Context doesn’t make it any better. He literally thinks attacking pedophiles is akin to rape and murder lol (not actually lol, quite sad)
I guess he meant to say Democrats so same.
