To the other dudes still like me searching for a meaningful relationship, if you haven’t discovered yet there’s a huge part that makes it easier. Become friends first, then date. If you force right into intimacy there’s no relationship developed. It’s not like HighSchool anymore unfortunately, persistence is key but know when to move on.

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•So this is how my neighbor fixes his fence.English
1·1 year agoTexas suburban cul-de-sac, one side is road facing with tree/shrub coverage so it’s not obstrusive from the roadway.
The yard also sits probably a foot down from the main ground level so it doesn’t look out of place, the alternative would have been a 6/8 ft fence with like 2 ft vine trellace

1·1 year agoHad similar scenario this summer at new house. Solution? We built a 10 ft fence.
Just add more wall when needed.

My piggies will go nuts when anyone crinkles a bag. I just stare at them and go “Seriously? We’re not doing that” and they will turn to a low chitter and back to whatever they were doing.
They know what they do 🤣

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•When the Steam Deck was still just an idea, Valve says some staff were like, "I just want that for me" and "the point wasn't even to make a product out of it"
19·1 year agoExactly, if you want a good product, have the developers make what “they” want. Usually works out.

Linux Gaming@lemmy.ml•Humble Bundle is showing ProtonDB ratings for one of their latest bundles
15·1 year agoI miss being excited to check the first of every month to see what game partnerships they would do and there would be fantastic bundle deals.
Now its just crap game resale, and all the “bundles” are comprised of freetoplay or previously on sale garbage.

Games@sh.itjust.works•GTA 5’s story DLC was scrapped because GTA Online was a ‘cash cow’, cinematics editor claimsEnglish
31·2 years agoIf you’re careful enough like myself to cheat billions of dollars and XP in to skip the pay to win grind without getting detected it can be a fun time killer. The Map is much more developed than the story mode, and the buisnesses/ heists are a blast.
People hate on GTA online, but it’s really because it’s all grindy to experience it all without feeling forced to buy shark cards. If you have infinite money then it essentially is another GTAs worth of impressive content. The vehicles alone have hours worth of customization.
