Problem has still not me a couple of times, but usually cause the toilet is quite small or it’s the walls of the bowl, but if there’s that much water in there I feel like it’s overkill

Yeah, I was about to say, as a software engineer I can totally understand how that might have happened and am not surprised… But the skeptic/cynic in me feels like it’s a convenient excuse.

I guess the idea is that if a person is giving you zero ad revenue, then them switching to a diff browser instead of removing ad blocker doesn’t change your equation.

But if any of them do just turn off the ad blocker it’s a win…

However I’m not sure if they lose other revenue because they don’t use chrome (like data tracking info)

You’ve got it backwards. If it wasn’t for the government, regulations and anti monopoly laws there wouldn’t be any new companies, it’d just be one major Corp for each sector.
