No, that’s not what this gif is about.

It’s commenting on the fact that sometimes abuse survivors share traumatic stories as if they’re normal or even funny, when in reality, compared to a normal upbringing they’re actually incredibly depressing or traumatic stories. Because to them, those stories were the normal seeming parts.

So sometimes they’ll do this with no sense that it’s a traumatic story - because it’s far from the worst things they experienced.

When this happens, it has the mood of the two characters in this gif. So hope that explains it for you.

Oh, so we let Capitalism destroy the planet and the ability to easily grow crops …and then resort to running around in the heat doing cannibalism?.. do we know they were billionaires at this point, or is there just still enough meat on them to make them worth hunting?

That’s the problem with post-Capitalist clarity, it leaves you in a really painful situation, and there may be no other destination possible. It nay be the only place Capitalism ends.

That doesn’t even address whether there’s a market in human meat and wealthy traders… And how Capitalist that market started. Oh Capitalism may not have ended yet in this scenario…

  • Because in the classical Jungian style of analysis, imagery of the basement of a childhood home was a revisiting of the past.

Likewise “up from the floor” indicates ancients coming up from caves, ancient monsters to be slain, underground dungeons. The primitive unchained and revisited.

…and using Freud’s principle of the inversion; down from the ceiling is indicative of from the future.

Prometheanism, featuring stories of Science only taking us so far before we fall from the ceiling, or rather it chaotically falls on us.

The idea that a return to primative barbarism and violence can also come from above, from technology, from the future unknown, from advanced beings, complex plans, or outter space.

So whether it’s up from the floor (ancient past) or down from the ceiling (unknown future) - it’s coming for us, with risks and dangers we’re not ready for…

    …or so the stories go.
