  • You can repeat “smoke and mirrors” as many times as you want. Doesn’t change that the parties vote VERY differently. Doesn’t change that one party got me affordable healthcare when I was young when the other one basically told me to go fuck myself. Doesn’t change that one illegally attempted to overturn an election and the other didn’t. Doesn’t change that one stripped women of a federally protected human right while the other didn’t.

There are so many examples of the parties not being the same that there’s no other way to look at your opinion than as ignorant to the extreme.

  • Speedrunners

It’s on sale for $3 right now. Awesome 4 player competitive racing game without split screen so everyone gets maximized view. Way different than Mario Kart so it won’t be a repetitive experience for them. This is the Steam-based couch coop that’s lasted longest in my friends group.

    Tricky Towers

Tetris game, but the catch is you build upwards to a finish line and physics play a role, so the tower can lean and collapse.

    TowerFall Ascension

Competitive platformer shooter. No split screen. One large screen for everyone. My favorite aspect is all the options you can change to switch up the gameplay. Coop mode and PvP mode.

    Mount Your Friends

A personal favorite of mine. Not necessarily for kids, even though I don’t think it’s anything beyond maybe PG-13. It’s hilarious. It can be pretty competitive. You can choose to build upwards or outwards. I think outwards is more fun. You can watch gameplay videos and determine if it’s appropriate for the kids in question.

Others have pointed out games like A Way Out, the Trine series, and Split Fiction. Those are all great. But they’re longer, story-based puzzle games that take more time than you may have for them to finish. Trine allows 3 players, but the others only allow 2.

  • The SS1 remake was pretty damn good.

The thing about remakes though is they can lose what made the original good. So while someone who never played the original might really like the remake, a die-hard that’s always liked the original may feel kind of betrayed by the remake.

I never played SS1, so the remake was something new for me and I liked it. But I grew up with and revere SS2 as being one of the best games ever made. So I’m almost kind of glad this is just a remaster and not a remake.

  • I couldn’t do the fetch quests and just clicking on boxes for combat.

    That’s literally all MMO’s.

I would hope someone takes this world and updates the graphics

They did at one point years ago. It looks a lot better than it used to. But they’ve pretty much maxed out what that engine can do. It’s not going to get better looking.

It’s the only MMO I play largely for the lore and because it’s the largest non-procedural game world ever created and I love getting “lost” in it. But they’ve already completed the LoTR storyline and while the new areas they’re adding still look great, the stories and quests are getting pretty boring. Gameplay is getting boring too. I haven’t purchased the newest expansion and I’m not sure I’m going to. Been playing for years, so feels a little weird to just quit.

They pissed me off when they completely re-worked the Loremaster class. So annoying to play now.

  • I asked what specifically you had an issue with, and gave three possibilities. Which one are you saying no to?

I said “no” because I mean NO to all three. I’m not typing it 3 times for you. You are not important enough to me to say no to each of your questions. You get one no, because I utterly disagree with you, in a sweeping manner.

Genocide is not infinitely better than genocide.

Sure it is, when the alternative is a WORSE genocide. Are you so simple that you can’t grasp that death and lots more death are different things with different degrees of severity? You keep saying hefty words like “evasion” and “delusional”, but you’re an individual that can’t tell the difference between a person that expresses their disapproval directly to the person committing a horrific act and a person that says “full steam ahead” to that person. So I’m going to use a hefty word on you. Ignorant.

Again - genocide is not a “single issue”.

    Yes, it actually, literally is.

It shows that on the spectrum of morality, a politician is at absolute zero.

Yes. The world is black and white. There are no shades of grey. To simpletons.

If war crimes, or what you perceive to be war crimes, remove a candidate from contention for you, then you’d never vote for another president, ever. Very mature stance you’ve taken there.

If you vote for someone like that, no much how much anguish you supposedly subject yourself to while you’re doing it, you’re a fool and a useful idiot at best

Or you’re simply an adult trying to make sure the significantly worse option doesn’t become reality.

But you, you are simply someone sitting on the fence, dishing out morality from what you believe is your high horse.

Because your alternative to voting for 2 “genociders” is to either not vote or vote 3rd party, which are unquestionably stupid things to do. Why? Because not voting is profoundly stupid. And voting for a 3rd party that CANNOT win, is also profoundly stupid. The 3rd party candidate with the most votes only got half of a single percentage of the total votes. A 3rd party CAN NOT WIN.

So excuse me if I’m tired of listening to someone pretending they’re a moral authority while contributing absolutely nothing to the situation, at all.
