I’ve only gone back to reddit anonymously a few times for technical information or guides. I do miss it in some ways but I don’t miss how toxic it could be.

W!
I just ran into a problem with the cheaper reolink cameras. I didn’t realize that some don’t support rtsp or ONVIF. I was able to solve this with a github project neolink: https://github.com/QuantumEntangledAndy/neolink In less than 10min I was able to install neolink and get my $30 reolink camera working with my NVR.
I’m using windows 10 because I need it for school. I plan to ditch windows on my main pc once I’m done in the spring.
Didn’t think about that! Thank you! Review left.
I’m here after leaving reddit for the api changes. This wasn’t easy since I had been on reddit to over a decade but I have no plans to go back. I can’t in good mind support a platform that doesn’t listen to it’s users/content creators. Plus I can’t stand the official app! RIF is the reddit app for me.
I was on the fence about joining lemmy.world or lemmy.one. As of today I’m glad I’m on lemmy.one I really hope that these growing pains end quickly.
I tried the official app a few times before the api announcement and can’t stand it. I’m supporting the blackout and if RIF dies, I will be done with reddit for good. I will miss the mass amount of knowledge.
I fired up my jellyfin vm about 4mts ago and love it!
