Ooh I notice nobody has mentioned Wasteland 3 - it totally slipped under my radar, it is a fastastic RPG, with a fun story and good combat! :) It’s what I’d love fallout to be :)

Aw, but I love my Yammy! 15 years on and it’s the only guitar I know will just take whatever dumb tuning I want to try, and it sounds okay doing it! :) poor little guy gets played as much as my nice ones!

How odd! I must admit with cyberpunk, I was reading ProtonDB and had a “that’s one fine game… why doesn’t mine look like that!” Simpsons moment. 😅

I am indeed! I tried popping in the skip launcher commands from a few people on ProtonDB, and it seems to be rather grumpy with me 😅 I’ve read it could be the Phantom Liberty DLC being DRM’d, but not sure :)

Aw, I can’t get cyberpunk to run on my mint install - it gets the logos and stops responding.

Some people read about performance, sometimes I’m just motivated knowing someone on the internet did get a game running in the first instance! :)

I will say though, Baldurs Gate 3 works perfectly, as does anything else I throw at it! :)

I love them because of a sesame allergy! Worry free brioche for the me! :)

Oh fantastic! :) Thank you, next playthrough I will get things going on Linux in that case, as that’s new to me! :) Like a fool I tried nexus mods vortex in Wine initially because I didn’t know better!

I can second this! For me it meant that I could finish my game of modded fallout new vegas, and connect to my work’s microsoft vpn nonsense (IT support didn’t fancy trying it on Mint but that’s another story!)

I now have a personal OS that I like, and a windows partition for those few things that I can’t be bothered to troubleshoot.

So far the list is just those things and the Unity Engine as Visual Studio debugs better than code in my experience. :)

Having the option to flick back is great :) In the XP days, I loved the WUBI(?) tool that let you install ubuntu dual boot as an exe, but I think that’s not a thing these days., :)

Heck yes! Earthbound! One of those games I felt was made perfectly to my taste :) funny, quirky, slightly uncomfortable… All great. :)

Darn it, I popped into this thread to suggest Thumb-Key, and was beaten to it by the maker of the keyboard!

Ugh that reminded me of getting “stuck” in Phoenix Wright 15 years ago because I didn’t have a microphone for my PC! What a disaster! That said, they did a steam remake, so that made me happy :)

Can’t you even skip one of those goals? What a great game 😁 It really does let you work it out, but not in an annoying puzzley way

I went and played Fallout 1 because I loved 3 so much… It took a few false starts (1 intelligence was a terrible call for a first playthrough lol, it ended bad)

Now I see it, 1 and 2 were so brilliant with the role playing and story that I can’t go back to 3! 😊 So many choices, strong characters, just brilliant.
