because we all know that license agreements are a line that trojan distributors will not cross. Not malware distribution, not hacking laws, but copyright infringement. They’d never do that at all.
I believe it would be significantly easier to submit a takedown request for copyright issues, compared to reporting an app for being malicious.

Owners of CSGO(CS2) 3rd party marketplaces seem to be making a killing off of fees, so it can be done successfully. But I doubt that Rocket League trading sites see anywhere near the volume of CS2 sites.

Jagex removed trading from RuneScape back in the day, for less greedy purposes than Epic is doing here, and it effectively killed their game.
hmmm, not sure if chrome has this, but for Firefox I use the “Open in App” button, since I have “Open links in apps” set to Never.
Though I can replicate your issue, clicking a lemmy link in Discord brings me to Firefox, whereas clicking a YouTube link in Discord takes me directly to the YouTube app (technically the ReX app)
