I’m envisioning Bookwyrm behaving as a comments section for anna’s archive (possibly all/any decentralised book repositary), but they’d be reviews instead. I’m reminded of discus or facebook that you often get embedded on certain sites.
Fantasy fan, games and art enthusiast.

Why are you so aggressive man?
Well, everybody knows capitalism rose out of feudalism in Europe. @ Cheesus briefly mentions it too.
The sarcasm is a response to the universal assumption that money and wages were always had universally. But @ TheChurn says very few were paid and those were rare.
Reminder: the soviets ran a state-capitalist system. That’s not very feudalist.
I think you’ve misunderstood her quite a bit. Happens a lot on here lol.
Can you elaborate on your assumptions and why he might assume it’s a paradise?
YouTube does change how videos are accessed so the apps need to update every time that happens.
I think this is what has happened.
Grayjay from Louis Rossman’s company is really good - you can even log in with youtube etc. It looks amazing. It looks like a Tachiyomi for Video and Livestreaming!!! You can add other sources.
Imagine somebody gamified it like people gamify seeding lol.
It’s a basic site but well stocked. Not comparable to the big torrent sites, but it is great.

Sigil and Calibre have tools that allow you to view metadata and edit html, toc etc. But I doubt there’d be tracking on a travel book tbh despite the comments below - (I’m happy to be corrected). It’s often visible on journal articles and others have stated technical books too.
Unlikely mate. Millions use it. Its pretty lightweight.
Tbf Tor is based on US military software. Could be a honeypot lol. But it’s the best we’ve got…
I remember using that on windows xp, maybe vista too.
Are you denying that Canada is a colonial project? Or are you mad that other people on the internet are aware of your Yaroslav Hunka problem? Of which there are many in Northern America from what I hear.
I’m describing the ‘highlights’ in the book you illiterate. What’s difficult to understand?
Canada is a state, its not possible to hate-crime Canada you twat.
Apartheid apologist strikes again. Do you believe you’re a good person mate?
Hitler’s American model describes Hitler’s dreams to match the power of the colonial powers of the day, Britain and France. But his inspiration came from the colonies themselves. In this book the American model with regard to race is explored, rather than canadian systems, but clearly Canada is not very different in that regard.
Some highlights:
The Nazis found that the one-drop rule was too harsh - (only because mixed Jews were somewhat white-passing whereas mixed Black people couldn’t pass and remained legally Black).
Manifest Destiny inspired Lebensraum (probably Canada and Australia too).
Nazi Race Law/Blood laws and second class citizenship laws for Jews were inspired by similar laws in the US (‘legal realism’ justification’).
Then don’t reveal that you’re a time traveller blabbermouth!
On the topic of unmarked graves, a good essay: https://lemm.ee/post/10348169 - https://aeon.co/essays/we-must-not-forget-what-happened-to-the-worlds-indigenous-children
And the standing ovation and subsequent apologism for an SS volunteer not withstanding.
I only recently stopped using it. And a lot of content on the internet, expecially ones for download use rar part files to split it up and host freely.
If they tied a bookwyrm comments section to an ISBN number for example then anybody/site could easily have it embedded to make it a universal tool rather than specifically connected to a piracy site.
