retrodeck is a must have if you get a steamdeck.

I get annoyed how putting a source in is not consistantly done with many of them. when you follow up and ask for them you generally get them but im going to look that over. I like when the answer looks like a wikipedia article with little number references.

Yeah I dunno. One of the big things is not so much what is happening now but what has been happening over the last forty odd years. A general downward trend. Now im not talking in all things so yeah some nice things with technology here and there and a few wins but I often talk about the 70’s sorta being the height. I often then get a list of things that were so bad in the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s and im like yeah. All these things were improved in that time. It was an upward trend. The reduction in regulation and taxes along with globalization such that corporations can sue countries and get the same rights of us citizens but can’t be incarcerate resulting in ever increasing wealth disparity. That was the 80’s, 90’s, and aughts. Then what we have had in the last decade or so with facism being popular and then you get what we have seen this year. Im sorry but I can’t see how this compares to hardships that wrapped up within a decade. I mean start of ww1 to end of ww2 was about thirty years. So there were tons of ups and downs in that time but the last 40 years. All slow downward. Layer global warming on that. ugh.

I mean it could be just mine but its finicky. I have come back to a decharged deck or it not charging. The cables are in good but playing with them gets it to charge. Its one of those things thats so intermittent by the time we figured it out it was to late to get it replaced. For awhile I was making it a point to make sure it was charging when I docked it but it got to annoying and now I mostly just charge directly. I have not see many other complaints about the charging so it might be me but it not working with hdmi you can see a lot of things on the web with people having the problem. Its been fixed a few times but nothing really fixed it for me and its wonky like the charging is.

still have not seen anything that looks as good as champions and star trek online for me. Im partial to massive customization of looks and build along with super immersive environments with day night cycles and nps and such that you can hang around and be just awed by how the landscape, floura, fauna, and npcs interact.

I have no answers for you but just want to mention I got the steam dock and it has been buggy with power power and external displays. If your going to work with an external screen I would get a third party dock or adapter.

I mean you can say you fail to get to bed on time but the beds there. Set an alarm so you don’t have a bs I did not relize it was so late excuse. Set two. one to get ready for bed (brush teeth etc) and once to be in bed. then do it. have an alarm for waking up to. again maybe two. one for waking and one for you have to leave now. also do your assignments. you have to take agency and simply not allow yourself any games or media or anything else until assignments are done.

I actually would really prefer for companies to just provide us virtual machines and I can connect to vpn and then to the work hosts. This way I can use my own setup.

I thought to do this but between the dock being pants and it only taking a few big news games to fill up most of the storage I ended up keeping it a dedicated gaming device.
