Proton is amazing. All the Steam games I bought in Windows run great in Linux Mint.

Especially in light of Microsoft CoPilot. You do not want obvious spyware on any computer.

Steam has a native Linux client that uses a custom version of Wine called Proton. It handles all the emulator settings for you. All the Steam games I bought in Windows run just fine under Linux. And amost all my older, non-Steam games (like Deus Ex or Giants: Citizen Kabuto) work great under Wine.

The “Fire Island gay” look is not for me. (Aka Midriff-baring T-shirts and Nut-Hugger shorts.)

I’d love it if VirtualBox emulated some really basic 3D cards (Voodoo 3, Radeon 9800) so I could do some old school gaming. I have a few old Windows games that won’t run under Wine.

Imagine if Wine became the new Windows. (Or became all that was left of Windows).
