Again, this just points to how you interpreted this image based off your cognitive bias. To you, one photo is positive, another is negative. That’s interesting. I don’t denote their differences as being positive or negative. They just are to me. There is no objective view of these things.

  • I think what you really mean is that you have acknowledged your bias. You take in information based on your own cognitive biases, including your appraisal of these two messages.

To me they both seem neutral in language. Neither states anything directly about the candidate, other than having information about them. This is an example of my bias. I’m not American so I don’t have the same emotional reactions that lead me to believing one or the other is more biased. To me the only thing I can say is that the Republican one is a stylized photo whereas the bottom one looks to be a photograph.

  • We’re witnessing an all out war on the working class. My workplace had 4 years of 100% remote work and we changed all of our systems and processes to be optimized for a distributed wfh workforce. We too just got the order that starting October we no longer have telework as a perk. 5 days onsite no exceptions.

We have studies and countless surveys proving how much productivity and employee happiness improved, but that literally doesn’t mean anything because senior managers want butts in seats because corporate real estate will lower in valuation if there aren’t butts in seats.

  • I’ve been bouncing around Linux distros since 2007.

I’ve been a big Ubuntu fan but Bazzite has absolutely blown me away, especially for gaming. Everything just works out of the box. No tweaking, no driver installations, no troubleshooting.

My multi monitor display and dock with peripherals (including webcam and wireless headset) just works with a single USB connection on the dock.

Call me a shill for bazzite but if you are just using the pc like a windows user would to play games, you won’t go wrong with it. I could basically say the same for any Ubuntu or Fedora distro but from my experience, those require some tweaking for everything to work nice.
