The only people who hate Linux users more than windows and Mac users are Linux users who think you chose the wrong distro

One thing I kind of like about monster hunter is you don’t need to commit to the long term, a hunt will last at most 50 minutes usually closer to 25 or less. You can boot the game up do a hunt and shutdown, and still feel like you did something in it.
For the ez mode loot it’s to allow players to get to the expansion content quickly if they want to, otherwise yeah just don’t touch the initial high powered loot you got gifted.
Nah they mean observing from the surface of say the moon and seeing earth block the sun.
I think this is a fairly common occurrence, but you wouldn’t get the same effect since the shadow would cover the entire surface and lack of atmosphere you wouldn’t get the sunset in all directions look.
Gotta say though it’s kinda nice when you run an update to be able to tell ah yes KDE apps are being upgraded when you see the wall of Ks
Always a good time until your repo mirror hasn’t fully synced everything so you get updated Nvidia driver but an older kernel so your video drivers don’t load.
That was a fun hour until I commented out a few mirrors and tried a different one.
Of course it did, everyone here came from Reddit.
Nah, cell towers often have some kind of backup power good for a couple hours or more, at least in the city where I am. I think I once had an outage last 3 days when a tornado wrecked the local transformer station, and still had cell service the entire time.
Yes it was perfect in Wayland till yesterday when I updated and fire fox started crashing with explicit sync errors
This wasn’t a windows issue you fucking neanderthal.
Oh sweet not just me then! Hoping this one gets fixed soon
But not in place of, no one is trying to say no chat clients ever, we just don’t want only chat clients.
Why are you even mentioning matrix? We don’t want a chat server corpo or not, we want a real functional forum with topics and history and indexed by search engines, not a single chat log that disappears into the void after 24 hours of use.
The only advantage to a canoe is it’s slightly drier than the water and slightly less sandy than the beach.
I do, and if you accidentally skip a version when updating it the stupid thing bricks itself, what kind of stupid software can’t handle multiple make version updates.
Had to manually reset the version it thinks it was at and roll back to a older sticker image and update one version at a time until I caught up.
I haven’t had issues with syncing files on android. File sync is literally the only feature I use, so I should probably look for a simpler solution.
Now upgrading the fucking thing is a nightmare, not sure if me using docker images makes it worse or better though.
Literally all of them, but look at OpenSSL for a good example.
Literally everything runs off it these days, and it’s like 3 guys and a trenchcoat working on it most of the time.
It’s just how open source / the industry / people are. We all have our own stuff we want to do, so as long as the stuff your using works you don’t tend to care, and if it doesn’t you often don’t have the time or resources to do anything other than tell the owner to fix it.
Power from nuclear plants in Ontario is some of the cheapest to produce in the province, because the plants have been running for literal decades.
https://www.opg.com/power-generation/our-power/
Fuck you
OPG manages power production for all of Ontario, with 2 nuke plants putting out over 3 GW each, for a total of ~6.5GW, OPG generates about 18-19GW so 30% is covered by two plants
The majority of the remainder is hydro across 66 fucking plants. And nothing else comes even close in output
And these are CANDU reactors, they don’t require refined uranium, and don’t contribute to proliferation like other plants, they also don’t meltdown explosively since boiling the coolant reduces the nuclear reaction rate.
Yeah with an Nvidia GPU and a valve index I have issues in vr on Linux no audio through the vr headset since displayport audio doesn’t work, and constant stutters in vr some kind of interpolation / timing issue i think.
I’ve heard things are better with amd gpus, but haven’t been able to test it.
