Right, but this is where the legal gray area comes in because it hasn’t been tested before. The way lemmy works is that lemmy.world is also hosting the content on their physical servers.

That’s pretty awesome. I imagine this would be a huge advantage with the growth of Linux gaming too

As someone who dabbles in Linux but is ultimately a regular people, what’s the advantage of this?

Thankfully Google is really good at killing things.

That’s generally been the case for most open choice games to movies. Unless there’s a solid story in the game that you can write a backstory to or fill in some gaps with a detailed movie I don’t see how it would work.
