He has got to only be saying this because Starfield DLC did poorly. The audience moves on if the game isn’t interesting. Personally, I buy all the DLC for games I enjoy. I don’t know many people that don’t either.

I found this site years ago, but I haven’t visited it in forever. They dissect Chick Tracts, and the site is a great way to read the full source material. From a cursory look, it seems they’re still going strong to this day, up to Tract #285 now (there are still new ones being published). It’s not just Chick Tracts, they’ve covered a lot of other evangelical fundamentalist pieces.

EDIT: I was a bit wrong, they just have every tract CATALOGUED on their site. By no means have they dissected them all, though they have quite a bit to dissect. The page I linked is a list of tracts that, when clicked, redirect to the Jack Chick website, where you can read them in full. Yeah, it’s fucking awesome! Nothing makes me happier than seeing a AAA studio sink big bucks into a project that was destined to be a dumpster fire, then release it as a timed exclusive loaded with DRM for good measure. I really hate that there are developers falling victim to the overall shittiness of the games industry, but I don’t know how else studios are supposed to learn that people want to buy games, not lease online storefronts. On that note, anyone have any good indie recommendations?

KDE Plasma is the way to go if you’re too used to the Windows desktop. Plasma 6 is out, and from what I ses it’s more like Windows 11, though Plasma is so configurable you could definitely mimic Windows 10.

Kubuntu still uses Plasma 5, which was pretty much exactly like using Windows 10 when I used it, though more configurable and smoother to use. If you want stability and compatibility in your machine, with a DE that has all its issues ironed out, Kubuntu is a good choice.

But, they are Ubisoft. As is the theme with this new Star Wars game. I’m almost wary to wish for a sequel to Rayman Legends, feels like the monkey’s paw with AAA (sorry, AAAA) studios now.

Far Cry 2 also had the buddies system, which I have missed greatly in every entry since. Far Cry 3 was an awesome game but I do wish the series after had taken more inspiration from 2 and less from 3. Subverting missions and then losing your favorite buddy in a firefight is an experience unlike anything in the rest of the series.

For real. I played through Far Cry 5 recently, and as much as I enjoyed it it still felt like some exec saw Far Cry 3 and said “make this appeal broader and sell more.”

Getting tired of these live action remakes… Good to see Rich Evans share the limelight with some lesser known names though!
