Huh that does sound arbitrary

I saw this before but I wasn’t ready, I think I might be now…

Honestly the UAC (the admin password/permission popup) and the way it handles software crashing (I believe by taking a screenshot of the current session, then moving to a safe session and asking what you wanted to do)was pretty nice. I don’t think most distros have matched the security of windows UAC prompts but then again it’s not as necessary on Linux either.

Yes omg I forgot about this but I do miss it frequently

Okay that’s what I was guessing but I wanted to double check. That’s cool though!

Does authlib-injector allow you to spoof a mojang account or does it just make alternative authentication easier?

Most launchers I’ve used allow you to launch unverified or “offline” instances which I believe should be the same as what the cracked instances would do as well. The main downside is that you can’t join any public servers that don’t have Mojang authentication on (just like the cracked versions).

fuck the premise that the only way you can escape their clutches is buying new shit.
Everyone suddenly forgets the used markets when talking about grapheneOS for some reason. Used old pixels are dirt cheap and don’t pass any money to google.

For me vanilla gnome is the best DE because of the thoughtful design it has. I rarely use any extensions because I like the way its workflow is designed out of the box (though sometimes I’ll use blur my shell to feel stylish).

This is the right answer to this question. You have to be ready to learn a new OS if you want to switch to Linux. IMO that doesn’t mean you should expect to be doing everything through the command line but if even a ui difference is going to be a problem then it’s probably not time.

That first sentence sounds crazy at first glance lmao

Unfortunately I don’t have much help to offer but this is a really neat project and I hope it works out for you

Thank you!!!

Where did you get the extension? I’m interested in it now.

Wow zen has really matured since I first tested it out. I have a really nice adwaita setup on base firefox but it’s tempting me to switch over.

Except the 12 unfortunately

Idk about extracting text but I like Foliate as a nice GTK epub reader

I switched to fedora for stability and pretty consistently each major update would break my computer. I switched to fedora silverblue and everything is so much simpler and upgrading is a breeze. A few times I have missed the simplicity of just installing random obscure software or toolkits for school but typically I can use containers and that also works nicely.
I also prefer using containers anyways because that aligns with how I mentally organize things. Flatpak has basically everything I need so that’s not a concern either.
Edit: I see you don’t benefit from stability, so don’t worry about that bit. It benefits me greatly though.

most of these reports come from sources who would imperialistically benefit from Israel’s failure
imperialistically benefit

Love to see some accessibility improvements and the nautilus update is going to make handling my large folders a lot easier
