Just putting it here without comment does not give this video justice. What a strange but unique way to make a game presentation.

Well yes, of course. They sell you an installer and it’s on you to download it. That the servers could be turned off at one point in the future because the company doesn’t have money any more should be clear. It’s on you to save the installer on your own hard drive, not the companies!
The source for this picture is from Vermis, a guide book for a fictional video game that doesn’t exist. It is interesting and full of atmosphere.
No they didn’t?
If I’m not getting whooshed from you playing the act:
The joke is that everything in the meme is already in the established TES canon. But capital G Gamers™ (which I hate that those assholes made that word negative), being media illiterate and being “anti woke”, often don’t see what their loved games contain, even if they complain about those things.
You are Legion?
I really like the idea of not being the powerhouse on the battlefield, but the difficult thing will be to make it fun and also give you a progression, where you are not just the tank at the end again. The player needs to be the smart little weasel between the hyenas and not just the lion.
The trailers till now already established a great atmosphere, let’s just hope they can also make a great game fitting to the visuals.
Shouldn’t the mod only affect what you yourself see? So in principle if SquareEnix doesn’t host the mod content, it shouldn’t be their legality, right?
Meh, the mobile phone port they sell on steam is not comparable to the original, but you are right on the principle.
Well, that is a very open ended question.
My thoughts on emulation is that it is an absolute necessity in order to preserve the history of gaming. However, it will also probably always be a grey area regarding copyright. Especially with emulation of current gen I find it not okay, since the original creator still earns money with it. But if a game or console is not sold anymore? Nobody loses money from me using an emulator to play Chrono Trigger with save states and increased game speed to make the farming and boss fights easier.
Evoland 2! Where the first game is mainly reference and no game, the second one is a completely original story and world which includes references. I highly recommend it.
Nope from me, I only get a blank page.
Soviet Russia never really said it was communist, neither did the other east European states. They said they had socialism and communism was the goal to reach in the future.
Oh for sure, I don’t blame the companies for doing it. I’m blaming the customers for being stupid enough to fall for it. Again. And again. And again.
In the top left it’s written “rent a bim”
Kudos to you for staying friendly and on point through this whole comment chain, just reading it I felt my blood pressure rise.
The original Minecraft had the right idea in my eyes. Cheap in alpha, because there is less stuff. A bit more when it reached beta state and another increase when it reached full release state.
Because you played an inferior version with less content and supported the development, you got a discount. No idea why people would pay extra to be the beta tester though.
If you are an EU citizen and agree with the initiative: GO VOTE!
It still needs to reach 1 million votes in total, not only the 7 country thresholds.
Memes? yes!
Grievances? That’s exactly what a review is for! Telling other people what you do and don’t like about a thing.
While I understand your feelings (I have such a friend myself), if graphics are most important to them, they are perfectly entitled to that opinion! I always interject, that my friend is missing out on great gameplay experiences but it is on them what they like and value most.
