I’m a gamer, so i decided to give nobara a shot. it works really fine, and i have found only one game so far that didn’t work. Lutris and heroic launcher is everything you need, i do have the VM but i haven’t spun it up since i finished the configuration :-) a few hours in and i decided that i won’t need my windows partition anymore.

If you have a few hours spare time, give it a spin, you’ll be surprised how good gaming has gotten under linux :-)

Nobara! switched 2 days ago, deleted my Windows partition 3 hours ago because it’s smooth sailing and quite the different experience compared to bashing my head against debian jessie ages ago.

you get acrolein when the e-cigarette overheats. modern devices should not even really do this anymore. I’m with you regarding the aroma additives (which i assume you meant as source for aldehydes); not many of those have been tested regarding inhalation (except for aromatherapy probably), and they might prove to be detrimental. i also believe that if i had kept my pack or two a day hobby for much longer, it would have had a real chance of killing me. i am also advocating that this stuff should be 18+ - by that age the whole “peer pressure” thing that led to me starting smoking with 14 should be mostly over.

in the end, the most important part is: i choose to use e-cigarettes since it’s harm reduction in comparison to smoking (and nothing else worked for me), and i know that it would be healthier not to do it. cats don’t have much choice regarding their food, especially when combined with an religiously motivated owner.

Yes, it is possible, with constant blood tests (which means monthly vet appointments and the corresponding stress for the cat) and a heap of knowledge.

it’s very easy to fuck this up to the detriment of the cat, and because of that every vet i’ve talked to about it said it is just too risky and stressful for the cat (and monthly bloodwork is costly too). Just putting the information “cats can be fed vegan” out is asking for trouble, because you can be sure that someone just does it without taking the necessary steps to make sure the pet is safe from harm. it is not even recommended to do BARF with cats, because it’s too easy to mess things up; there’s just not enough margin for errors to do it safely.

I fucked my “clicker” up with too large portions, which expanded my stomach over the years. i was NEVER satiated, because i had no way of filling my stomach up. I was always hungry. In the end and after many years of fighting my massive overweight i went for an stomach bypass. If someone tells you that this is the easy way out: they are full of shit. You have to relearn eating, and 1) that really sucks and 2) that was exactly what i needed, No more feeling hungry is a blessing.
