I use NixOS and I borked Gnome cusors by having Hyprland installed also. Not everything can be rollbacked but you can easily reinstall NixOS on a USB if you have to which is what I’m doing right now.

Instead of sacrificing your friend’s face to Facebook, you can sacrifice an AI-generated face. I commented above:
You can bypass this via https://github.com/hacksider/Deep-Live-Cam. You can get the faces needed from https://thispersondoesnotexist.com/. Although if you are privacybro, there’s no documentation yet for running Deep Live Cam on Linux. This method is more private than using phone numbers since you can do this with disposable emails.

how the hell do you make something both open source and paid??
[Shits in face]
If you have more time like me, you can just “fuck it we ball” and install NixOS and wipe your drive
Fair enough, although it was Pop!_OS fault due to a bug in Linus’ installation. It’s been fixed now.
I doubt it will even happen though. Microsoft’s forcing AI on everything already and yet it hasn’t moved the needle. Microsoft has to do some wilder shit to even move people to Linux. Influencers and awareness don’t really help that much as shown by PewDiePie’s video about him moving to Linux.
https://nixos.wiki/wiki/Nixos_Woke_Invasion. The user wiki is quite helpful now. Or if you want the direct source of the article, https://srid.ca/nixos-woke
As an former Fedora and Mint user, now NixOS user, I reccomend Fedora to newbies. rpmfusion ain’t that hard since you only copy and paste commands and I’ve never had any problems with drivers. It maybe daunting but after installing the drivers, you don’t have to do anything else after. Fedora also opens up other possibilities to the Linux rabbit hole like ricing and its semi-rolling release.
Some catppuccino would be good aswell
i been waiting for this so long
username checks out
If I had a nickel for everytime I had to borrow a laptop to write to a USB, I’d have a nickel.
