Word man. If we can pull this off I really think it’s a better future for social media in general.
you can try
I mean ya, that’s not super surprising. The hardest part of getting a site to take off is adoption.
I will say though that the mobile site has sucked for a long time. Lol
I think its super important we all try to stay active. Upvote, comment, and post as much as you can. When more refugees come lurking we don’t want them to see a ghost town.
Excited to finally get some new Fable content. I it’s been 10 years since I’ve touched the franchise.
I noticed you mentioned that after I posted, so I deleted my comment. I guess lemmy still notifies you.
Give Hitman WOA a try
/r/aoe2 was one of my favorites. I hope plenty of users decide to make the switch.
About to start Amnesia Bunker
I think what they are referring to is this.

Xbox exclusives are day 1 gamepass always
Come on Gears remaster
Maybe more complicated than what you are looking to do, but you could look into install prowlarr, then setting notifications up in that.
So far the mobile site is way better than Reddit. I feel like Reddit was always humping my leg trying to get me to install their shitty app.
I also really like the federated aspect, but I do agree with others in that I fear this may be too confusing for the average user and it won’t catch on.
You could try starting your own community?
Any concerns you that you may attract attention to your network? I’m interested in doing the same thing you are.
I actually have an interest in doing this as well. One concern though. Wouldn’t standing up a Lemmy instance on you own network and federating potentially attract unwanted attention to your IP? Would it be better to host on a VPS instead?
That is definitely a good lead
