Thank you, i will try doing it on opnsense
Update: I have installed the wol plugin from opnsense into my machine, you asked if i can send a wol packet though the router and so in my thinking i was able to do it via the plugin. The problem starts on the ARP, i found what it is and what it do but i dont know how i can insert the MAC address into the firewall rule that i created above, if you dont mind could you help me on how can i do it? And if i do that will i be able to send the wol signal though the Wlan or Wireguard in the future? Thanks
Never heard of that phrase ARP thanks i will look into that
If you can share that trick it would be great!!. Preferably i would like to use the Moonlight client wol signal but if can’t, i can think of doing a script in the termux android app to send the packet
Have you tried Tachidesk-server? It’s a fork of the tachiyomi app but as a self hostable, you can try downloading your mangas from there
thank you for the support, i was able to make Unbound listen to 10.50.50.0 as a dns but when i tried to access me services on 192.168.1.$$ the same problem occured. i also found another simillar post that had the same problem as mine so i now know it will not work, but thanks for the help
Yes it’s because I use unbound and Adguard on opnsense, Adguard uses 5353 and unbound uses 53, so in opnsense I went to Services > Unbound DNS > query forwarding and added the IP 10.50.50.0:5353 but even doing that didn’t work on my wireguard config file.
Thinking more into it the reason that It didn’t work was because unbound is the primary DNS and Adguard would become the secondary DNS, if there was a way to create another IP for unbound I think my problem would be solved, but Im still learning about opnsense so I don’t know how would I do it.
I didn’t know that, in Adguard > Setup guide > configure your devices. Since I selected to listen to All interfaces there are lots of IP addresses so I just copied the IP from my wireguard interface like this.
But the problem is the DNS, I think the phone isn’t as picky as the computer when connecting to wireguard that why it works, I will try doing that but I don’t think that’s the problem
I bought the Intel Celeron n5105 from some vendor called wooyi store on AliExpress, from what a saw on yt that CPU is a little overkill for a router and it uses too much idle power, but I think it was a good purchase for me bc I don’t plan to switch this router soom. Edit: I’m also thinking between using the onboard wifi card or just buying an wifi AP to use at home, do you have some recommendations?
I used to use this docker to get the full content from its rss some time ago. You have to input the link of the page instead of the rrs link, its doesn’t work on every site but it can help. Still loonking for better ones.
