I had mistaken molly for a different signal fork. Molly just uses an encrypted local db that doesn’t rely solely on the OS encryption method.

The database is encrypted
Interesting.
I wonder if the people having this issue are using chrome. On FF it has never been an issue for me.
Everyone wants they’re piece of the pie. I just want AI to evolve to the point we can use it to create real innovation. But we’ll never get there with all these greedy removed.
That thing does indeed keep the car cooler.
I expect things to get cheaper over time as the company learns how to run more efficiently and use new technologies to lower running costs. It never happens, but I always expect it to.
This seems so ridiculous. I’m coming from a privacy perspective. I’m using a number of extensions that block as many trackers as possible. Now I may have to give that up just so someone can “attest” to my identity. I’ll have to forgo my privacy, otherwise I can’t use the web.
I want lemmy to have a hacker news mentality on posts and comments. Only post something if it will help continue a discussion. In the beginning that’s mostly what it was and it was great. Now it’s turning into Reddit V2. If that’s what people want then it’s fine, I just thought it’d be more like old Reddit where we only upvote content that added to a discussion.
Pineapplelover has been spamming this all over lemmy. Wonder if he realizes there’s no karma here.
Not really. I’ve been styling my home screen for years. I use kwgt, klwp, and icon sets to create a custom look. It’s what I enjoy doing, so no I don’t think doing something you like requires you to question anything.
and yet that other thing refuses to show itself
You can buy a dedicated 2fa device. You can set your Google account to use the hardware key instead of sms verification. I don’t use sms 2fa on any of my accounts. Hardware security keys are inexpensive and work when you lose the phone. Yubikey offers numerous products that do what you want. You can also have 2FA keys on your smartwatch.
Hey, you should. Great way to secure your accounts.
No but I have money. If I see something I want, I’ll pay for it. If I was strapped then yeah I’d be upset.
That is what I’m telling you.
Necessary is a matter of perspective.
I’m just someone who will pay for something to look good. If that makes me a sucker then I guess I have too much money.
I am serious.
I have mine on an Odroid N2, originally looked at the yellow but I didn’t understand why I wouldn’t just get an Odroid, so I did.
