No, but if Musk and Zuckerberg has taught us anything, there are plenty of engineers who are willing to sell out humanity for fascism. No one is safe, and we should not trust random networks just because it’s “activist controlled”.
Just a guy wandering aimlessly through this world.

It could go either way. The benefit of faking an activist mesh network is tracking and surveillance for later retaliation.
To be fair, given what lengths the police will go to messing with protesters, would anybody trust some random mesh network?
If it were 25-30 years ago, when there was a risk of physically damaging (i.e. blowing up) hardware, and I’d agree with you. But in this case, the worst is to have to reconfigure things back to their defaults.
As for retroarch, what would be your suggested alternative?
I’ll be the first to admit I have no idea how any of what I posted works, but I do know it works. Maybe the tv game mode didn’t do anything for my Bluetooth, and maybe the other settings I changed did. All I do know is my gaming experience is so much more responsive now. And if any of this helps other people, then all the more better. 🤷♂️
It has been amazing. I’ve been playing Faxanadu all day, and before I found out the game mode on my TV, it was hit or miss if I could make the jumps. Now I feel like id never have gotten so far in the game because of the tricky jumps. And all with an 8bitdo Bluetooth controller (sn30).
Sooooooo…
touch grass
chmod 000 grass
touch grass # gets error
I’m curious how you got a permission denied error in your home directory??
Anytime I take a spool off the printer I put it back in the filament dryer. Once it’s done it goes in a sealed bag with dessicant. This keeps the filament dry and prevents stringing.
Would a plain old ziplock bag with the air vacuumed out be sufficient?
Also don’t use your food oven for plastic anyway.
😅 um… 😅 🥺
I just ordered a filament dryer. If that doesn’t work, I’m going Office Space on that b¡tch.
Since my oven can only go as low as 75°C, I ordered a filament dryer. 😠
~Stupid oven.~
Pops? I hear the gear slipping sometimes.
I just checked and it is not on by default.
Thank you for the word of warning. Does this affect Windows 10 as well?
Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve never before seen mention of this; this is the type of stuff that should be mentioned in blurbs like the one above. People who are not aware of lemmy.ml being a test server may find it off putting otherwise.
part of those donations go to lemmy.ml’s server upkeep
If that’s true, that’s misappropriating the donations being that they’re billed as supporting development. Server maintenance and upkeep is important, but do not mislead your benefactors to do so, lest you destroy their trust and stop donating to your cause.
I would like it if both @nutomic@lemmy.ml and @dessalines@lemmy.ml could confirm or put to rest if this is true.
Edit: a couple of users pointed out that lemmy.ml is used as a test bed for lemmy development. This is good info, and not something I, personally, was aware of.
This would require a lot more than 15 minutes to file a proper report…. All of this would easily add up to 2 hours or more…
Tell you what: log the time it takes, and I will personally pay you $60/hour for your time to make a proper report.
And no, I’m not being sarcastic.
The enemy of my enemy or some shit.
