Better is subjective. If one measured the merits of the language on its rich cultural history, then British (as usual) wins. However, if it’s measured by accessibility for simpletons then the US (as usual) wins.

What’s to wrap your head around? It’s 6.35kg or 12lbs.
Importantly it is only ever used to measure the weight of humans

Everyone seems to want to jump on the neg train but reality is that even games with tiny players numbers can still support multilayer matchmaking
It’s still the 35th most played game on steam.
Yeah the US differs by a couple of weeks iirc
Honestly most the advice I’m seeing is basically an answer to “how to avoid clothes looking absurdly crinkled” but nothing gets clothes as crinkle-free as an iron. Most people are just content with some crinkles.
Not even iron-free shirts are free from my iron.
I don’t use the dryer except for towels, and I’m generally pretty good about taking them out when they’re done washing- can definitely tell when they’ve sat there a while!
I iron my tshirts and shorts otherwise they look crinkley

Maybe I’m missing the point as I’m not from the US (and I assume from your content that you are) - but here we pay a delivery fee which covers the cost of delivery, and a tip is an optional bonus for the delivery person if you feel like they went beyond.

Some things never change.

The other person says: “and quartz, of course”
The first person replies: “of course.”
The caption to the comic reads “even when they’re trying to compensate for it, experts in anything wildly overestimate the average person’s familiarity with their field”
It’s a good thing they included the coin for scale otherwise we might have just assumed this person had Trump sized hands (another completely valid and totally real unit of measure, the greatest unit of all time actually)

I completely agree. I taught JS/TS for 5yrs and I always emphasised that the ‘class’ keyword was just syntactic sugar for what was already available in prototype inheritance of JS.
Huh? I’ve worked with TypeScript + React for the last 5yrs and the only time I see OOP is when someone’s done something wrong.
Maybe you’re thinking of old react with class based components?

I don’t think we have the same thing in the UK as while we have many accents, they are so unique they sound nothing like any foreigner. I guess German accents can sound similar to foreigners speaking German?
