12·6 months agoI use KeepassXC on my computer and Keepass2Android on my phone. Passkeys work fine and are synchronized across my Synology.
I started with Ubuntu back when you could put in your parent’s home address and they sent you free CDs. I’m on Arch (since about 2010), and I can’t change.
This is a Thermo handheld XRF. I wasn’t working at this place when it was purchased, but it was somewhere between $40k-$60k.
When I found out they had lead last year, I went to work with the cup to confirm. This is a handheld XRF, which depends on the specific spacing of electrons in atoms to determine the identity. Not much to it other than point and shoot! (with shielding)
showing lead (Pb) from the pattern.
I have an HDMI switch that starts acting up if the power cable gets loose. Why does the power cable get loose? No idea, but it’s also a cheap nobrand switch. This probably isn’t your issue, but try pushing the barrel connector in more or try a power supply that supports a higher current (same output voltage). I only mention it because I only managed to “fix” my switch by noticing it was just a mm out of the jack.

6·1 year agoI saw this a bit ago and I think it’s really creative. I won’t use it though because I’m not a cat person. If there are any other unique ones out there (not just a distro logo with flair), I’d be interested.

3·1 year agoI plan on installing some water to feed my garden later this summer. I was considering PVC, but is this a better case for metal? How does the plastic handle the UV from the sun? I thought outdoor might be gray PVC, but I was thinking underground PVC with galvanized above.

Your fire alarms most likely have a CO detector, not a CO2 detector. I don’t really know the point of a CO2 detector, though, so I agree with you on everything. Just get a few more indoor plants if CO2 is a concern.
