It would be nice if we could choose our bias. Sometimes, we might want it biased towards scientific sources, sometimes, towards user-generated content, sometimes towards institutional sites, etc.

Using fedora because back then, they were the only ones to support my hardware. Have been usinc it until today, by inertia. It’s a nice distro for everyday use though.

You probably mean the relay servers. They are used in case your devices are behind a NAT and don’t have any ports forwarded. In that case, it would be impossible for devices on different networks to communicate over the internet, so the relay servers make the communication work. It’s not something to worry, since your data is encrypted when passing through it, but it can be disabled.

At one hand, I like lemmy for being smaller and cozier, but on the other, the possibility of reddit becoming unprofitable due to lost users is so awesome to be missed.

I guess you’re thinking about UAD (universal android debloat) tool. It has a nice gui, but you need adb enabled for it to work.
