Haven’t heard of Lingmo but I’d say the same ui style is achievable in any OS using gnome with theme and dash to dock.
Go for something like Debian or Fedora and theme it.

I’m not a Mint user but I would assume the Ubuntu/Debian install instructions on Mullvad would work on Mint as well

My bad, just read further in mullvads documentation and they do state that Mint requires manual installation. If I understand it correctly you will need to follow these instructions to install updates as well.

Way back: Ubuntu live CD. More recent history: Pop!_OS > Zorin OS > Fedora.
Happily been running Fedora for like 2 years now.
Fedora because it’s boring in the best ways. Curious about NixOS though.

App hasn’t been updated in months with no contact from the dev. I suggest you download another app. Boost and Apollo are good alternatives.
Mullvad + Transmission

None of these appeal to me. I’d rather just have the big text say “Sync for Lemmy” and no small text.
Username checks out.
Get that reddit attitude out of here.

Clearly Crentist at work.

I’ll take a super slice over an extra limb slice any day.

That top right slice should be considered a crime. That pepperoni should be part of the top left slice.
Edit: The one on to the bottom left is a bit offensive as well.

My thoughts exactly, Connect is the most Sync like.
I also uninstalled Jeroba as it lacked polish and kept logging me out.

Interesting, I’m experiencing no lag with Connect. Will check out Thunder.
Kind of interesting seeing this race of lemmy app development but I hope LJ takes his time to put out an app with a higher level of polish.
For me it’s the geolocation of all things. Live USB can find my location in map and weather applications no problem but once installed it only gets my country right…
