Skyrim
Mario Galaxy 2
Animal Crossing New Horizons
I changed my mind. ACNH wouldn’t be as fun with no multiplayer. I’ll say Fire Emblem Three Houses instead.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is not real life. Having Valkyrie assume a leadership position is not to claim that happened in real life. It’s a work of fiction. The MCU can make its own rules.
Love & Thunder had its issues. Representation (over or under) was not one of them.
I like when media have diversity.
Take Black Panther for example… a movie where the lead roles were inevitably going to be dominated by black actors, and they still managed to put white guys in a couple decent-sized roles. The diversity made that movie more accessible to a wider audience.
I once had a coworker who said to me “all white people look the same,” and while I don’t share his sentiment, it’s important that characters are distinguishable to a wide audience. Including a variety of races is like the easiest way to ensure characters are distinguishable.
The director of Riot Games needs to learn a thing or two about branding. “2XKO” rolls right off the tongue lol
A League of Legends fighter named “Pool Party” went though drastic changes in direction, then was canceled?
This has incompetent management written ALL over it. Such potential wasted.
It COULD have been a tie-in to Arcane. That would have been great. Who doesn’t want to beat up Silco as Vi?
Calling your own take a hot take is premature. A take being hot requires it to make other people take notice and agree. If it’s your own take you’re sharing, that hasn’t happened yet.
I think you mean what are your unpopular opinions related to game plots/characters.
Don’t give gatekeepers the benefit of the doubt. If they don’t want to see opinion articles about games, they can block the community.
Predicting the games will have differences does not entitle you to limit other people’s tools of evaluation (comparison is a tool of evaluation).
The ones who buy items in-game are the ones who buy the games. Those are the customers they want to appease the most.
Reformatting my Windows 11 machines and replacing the OS with Windows 7 is on my (very long) to-do list
Have you yourself had success with this?
I replaced a drifty joycon stick with a hall stick and it just switched to a different kind of drift. Also it registers diagonals when I’m physically pressing cardinal directions.
CORRECTION: I had to calibrate it. Now it works great!
Ok but like how’s the gameplay?
Pokemon does not have a monopoly on silly monster designs.
That logo in the thumbnail looks like the Monster energy logo
He’s getting a pretty sweet severance package. I think he’ll get through this.
(This isn’t the first executive-level resignation on his resume)
Sync is how I learned about Lemmy. But it wasn’t up yet when I switched, so I downloaded Connect, which is a lovely free app.
Game consoles are like proprietary PCs with some of the features removed. If PCs are included, couldn’t you argue game consoles are too?
Where Frozen II?
It wouldn’t be the default, obviously… did you read the first part of my post?
It would be 100% possible for game devs to include an option to mitigate drift (require the stick to be pushed at least ~x% to move at all, adjustable anywhere from 10 for slight drift to 50 for extreme cases). Haven’t seen the slightest effort nor heard a peep on that.
Bunch of people in the replies seemingly never tried to play puzzle games with drift and have no idea how much trouble it can cause. Do the puzzles in The Last Campfire with joycon drift and let me know how it goes.
Just go back to using the Reach engine
