1 year agoI am on the same boat. I was on Reddit for close to 10 years, and this encouraged me to look for alternative. And you know what, now after spending few days here on Lemmy, it has started to grow on me. Especially the toxic free environment.
I guess Reddit has already shown hostility towards fediverse in the past. If enough people do it then it just might be that they would not get all at same time and others on Reddit might be able to see and decide on their own what they would like to do.
