Hey, at least the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is about to be finally resolved in our lifetime.

It’s such a weird precipice we’re standing on, we either take a step back and go back to the status quo, which arguably isn’t fantastic, but it’s livable. Or we jump off the edge into a fascist dictatorship where someone with brain worms is trying to ban vaccines, remove fluoride from the water system, Ukraine possibly falls against Russia, the US becomes a third world banana republic, civil rights are vastly curtailed, and likely the environment takes a huge nosedive and life on earth becomes a nightmare hellscape.

Like, how the fuck is this even a close election? Hopeful based on some reporting I’ve seen, but it’s not even noon, so no idea where things go from here.

Day #1 was a success. 29 more to go.

Surprisingly calm while being given a bath.

I went out with my kids and we went to a few houses actually that had lights on outside and inside, told my kids to go to the door and knock, waited a minute or so, and nothing. This was maybe half-a-dozen houses, so it’s not always a given that just knocking on the door will get results. The new “normal” is that people are either waiting outside to hand out candy or they’re leaving bowls out for kids to help themselves. Knocking on the door for trick or treating is a crapshoot and it’d be understandable why most kids will skip that. Compared to other houses, it’s more effort for potentially no reward, or, even if there is a reward, it’s the same as every other house.

Played it at launch and I’ve never had the desire to jump back into it since beating it the first time. I never had major issues with bugs or anything, the story was just on rails, there was no point in jumping back into it to play the same story all over again. Like yea, I guess they changed some systems and mechanics, but whatever.

Everytime I get sick I think about this. “I am going to appreciate my life so much more when I’m not sick.” I appreciate not being sick for about five minutes before it just goes back to being whatever.

Just got over that portion of being sick, but it’s evolved into a persistent cough now that’s hurting my abdomen I’m coughing so much. At one point I had to have two “stations” set up, a hot station for cooling down and cold station for warming back up. I would just bounce back and forth between the two as my temperature swung around wildly.

I’d probably try outside if I was going to let a woman try to hold it and aim, otherwise they’re gonna miss from just piss-poor aim or I’d start getting hard and that would make it even harder to aim.

If she gets elected she’ll be the first female Vice President AND the first female President, from back to back terms.

Because it’s considered “lewd” and “indecent” when I do it and I’m not allowed within 500 yards of schools anymore.

We’re probably more likely to see a return to feudalism, with the wealthy getting worshipped as god-kings and regular folks going back to being illiterate peasants working the land for their overlords.

I’ve actually been “maintaining” my Dad’s GOG account since he died some years ago. Anytime there’s a giveaway I log into both our accounts and download, one for me, one for him. No point to it really, just out of remembrance, though I’ll probably hand it off to one of my kids at some point.

I have thought upon it and am of the mind that he posts about it, then forgets he ever posted it, and posts it again thinking it’s still the first time.

If anything, society collapses and the very wealthy carve out fiefdoms for themselves and re-create medieval feudalism. They tell people they have a God-ordained to rule over the “small folk” and they continue on living like kings, albeit in a post-apocalyptic setting.

What else were you supposed to do on the bus ride home?

They support pride in all of its various forms, whether white pride or gay pride.
