Same, sadly there probably wont be a steamdeck 2 for a while considering valve is working on the deckard, I REALLY hope they announce it sooner rather than later though. I gave my steamdeck to my girlfriend and I’m waiting next gen.
they’ve been doing this for a long time. the issue you are having is the reason I keep bitlocker disabled on my desktop. on devices that can be stolen I still use it.
I wouldn’t have any actual problems doing the dual boot itself, its just that I don’t want to deal with not having my data synced between operating systems
allowed, yes. but switching between multiple operating systems on the same device is simply a pain in the ass.
Linux is, in general far better than windows in my experience. its just that certain must-have applications are only available on windows
yes, but lossless scaling is closed source and the developer has decided not to try adding Linux support. supposedly its because of it’s reliance on windows capture apis
I’ve loved using Linux on my steamdeck to game, but sadly I cant really switch because of lossless scaling. LSFG is too good to stop using, and there’s no Linux equivalent. not even afmf2 works on linux
I don’t understand it either, when I’m playing a video game (except for certain games that are very stylized) I want it to feel like I’m looking through my character’s eyes rather than a camera lens. Maybe it’s because they think that’s what people want when they watch a trailer?
don’t worry about it, turning off chromatic abberation, depth of field, motion blur, and lens flare is always the first thing I do when I boot up a game
Im playing with about 20 add-ons currently. do GAMMA and EFP offer quest lines? or maybe a story to progress through?. because thats the one thing I think anomaly is lacking.
its the most popular addon for stalker anomaly, just sort by most downloaded of all time. oh and maybe install the other mods it recommends to go with it. they add finishing touches to the game that make it really immersive
An 8bitdo Ultimate 2 or Gamesir Cyclone 2 are the best options, they have built in rechargeable batteries and they’re the best in every other regard. they also work wired, just like nearly every other wireless controller nowadays.
yes, the country famous for being accepting of foreigners, that is also known for a high standard of living…
there is problems with the buy european movement as outlines in other comments here, but as an American: please continue boycotting us, the chances of our government changing for the better are slim, but every bit of protest matters.
VR didn’t fail, the industry just didn’t understand it and thought they could create Ready Player One in real life. VR has, and always will be a gaming technology first and foremost, and will not replace flat screen games. it failed to capture a consumer base it was never mean’t to appeal to.
everyone here is a leftist nerd, and the united states is at risk of falling under right-wing fascism.
