not really a linux issue more of an application issue but I use Remmina for work and it crashes a couple times a day and that’s annoying. For a while Ubuntu didn’t have the GNOME changes that keeps the remote RDP session running when the client disconnects and I’d have to re-open all my remote applications a few times a day. I was expecting to have to wait till 26.04 to get that but a few weeks ago that update reached my work laptop and now I mostly have parity to how my old Windows work laptop worked.

I just don’t know about the GUI tools and wouldn’t know how to help people with them. Of course I’m not really enthusiast grade anymore and don’t offer Linux help but yeah.

This is actually somewhat true. There’s a mechanism at the top of the crane that lifts the cab and arm above the top truss and then the crane lifts a new truss to the top and works install it and lock it in place. The process repeats until the crane is the required height.

When I would develop on windows I used the terminal a lot and it’s not really changing. Guis are great for something’s but when you’re working with things that have to run without a gui, there’s just no substitute to a terminal. I’m not using a terminal cause it makes me feel cool. It’s just the only tool for some jobs. Not because a GUI hasn’t been made, but because a purpose made GUI for the task would be a waste of time and not as good.

This will be my second year celebrating my completion of no nuts November.
