Windows update, at least since the inception of the concept has never required me to go to a browser

In xp it still was an website which required IE due to activex used to do the updates.

Everybody uses Arch btw, can’t quit Vim, <loves/tolerates/hates> systemd, and wants to interject for a moment. You can stop now.
