You should do that anyways. Bed frames exost for a reason: it helps to stop moisture building up on the underside of the mattress, and thus prevents mold.
That plus less bugs end up crawling across your face at night.
I’m just thankful for any physical contact at this point.
To be fair, air mattresses are like shittier futons and don’t get moldy because you’re always moving them around.
