Also I have met people who have published some pretty important papers, most of them use scihub on a weekly basis, and none of them care that their papers get “stolen”. And they all have some strong opinions about Elsevier.

We have the same thing in France. They say it’s important so that you view the exchange as a transaction and not just you trauma dumping.
I say they are definitely not declaring all that cash to the State.
Afaik french haute couture shit (like Vuitton) really don’t. They’d rather play with all the grey areas of the law of various European countries to buy their leather from some factories in Italy where work safety standards are seen as more of guidelines than rules and they illegally employ immigrants to pay them the shittiest salary possible. Then get that shit to France and pay someone a pittance to make the bag even though it’s very tedious and precise work, so you can say it was made in France with European leather.
I’m sure we will
They (save for a smarter minority) are 100% gonna decide that pesticides are more important. Until they learn they aren’t, but it will be too late.
Some archetypes of boobs armor can work e.g the half naked barbarian, which is fairly gender neutral too thanks to Conan and shit, but sometimes it’s ridiculous.
I play men characters a lot of the time because the boobs armor trend annoys me. I always try to make them look very distinct from me irl though. I really like this new trend of making all armors gender neutral (e.g BG3 and especially MH wilds, since the series had a long standing tradition of making some of the female armors really… Let’s say “not realistically functional as an armor”. In the new one they still have these versions but you are free to choose any of the 2 looks regardless of your character’s gender).
I do recall some people being upset that they basically “yassified” Geralt from the witcher 2 and onwards. According to the books he’s supposed to look “weird” or something like that. Like, not repulsive but definitely not sexy, with slightly “unnatural” proportions and beast-like traits, etc. Which I think they nailed in the first game, through the low definition textures and models probably help a lot with the uncanniness.
I find that people crying about non-white male and/or non-bimbo female MCs are outrage tourists pushing their stupid gamergate agenda 99% of the time. At this point I don’t know why we are even acknowledging them anymore.
As a man I wanted to clarify that I am also easily fascinated by cheese
I’m still fuming over how childish that was. That oversized baby Vance was literally acting like some kid awkwardly trying to score some points in the eyes of his idol.
She is absolutely great, but she doesn’t talk about Linux, does she ?
René Magritte - La trahison des images
Insanely famous surrealist painting reflecting on the fact that any image, however faithful to reality, is only a representation of the thing it depicts

Depends if you’re into each particular nerd’s special interest(s)
Not saying you’re wrong in general but
if you need to stop on any kind of hill, you have to be aware your gonna need half a car length or more to get into gear where your just going to be falling down that hill while you convince yourself you don’t need to panic and you will catch the gear before you’re past the point of no return
My shitty Toyota Aygo has a hill start assist thing and it works very well. Basically when you release the brake at 0 km/h it holds it for a few seconds or until you reach the slip point of your first gear. Also handbrake start is right there in the OP, (and a mandatory part of drivers ed over here)
It has more than 1000 hp btw. And breaks itself every few miles
I’m so sorry Jesus, I just wanted to play some tarkov
