I wish these tech company owners would resolve their childhood traumas in other ways than trying to fuck the life for the rest of the world.

I mean, the company is literally named after this fucking thing from LOTR. These people are comic book level evil.

The palantiri (Tolkien) are not evil. Literally just a magic viewing orb.

I’m baffled the Tolkien estate didn’t sue them into oblivion for using the name.

I know, but given that when we see them in the series they’re exclusively used by Evil, its… it just floors me

And the whole reason they’re evil is because the most powerful person who has one gets to choose what all the others see. I’m sure there’s no metaphor there.

I saw those ads at an airport too. Can’t imagine what they expect people to do when they see the ad… Who’s even the target audience for ads like this in the airport?

It depends. Some have a private jet but most still fly first class. One of the rare instances where the plebeians and bourgeoisie mingle. Which is why we see their ads.

I think anyone who hires this company needs to have people close to them dying on a regular basis, and anyone who works for them needs to watch their family tree get fucking pruned.

… relax, it’s in a fascist way, not the sexy way (unless fascism is your kink, but even at that, they won’t respect your safeword, or ever stop unless stopped by a more dominating force).
